We are currently recruiting an experienced hotel receptionist (full-time) to join the team at Nira Caledonia. We are an outstanding 26-bedroom hotel located within the Stockbridge area of the New Town, Edinburgh. Nira Caledonia is a luxury boutique property and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. This role involves working between 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per day. There will be weekend work involved and the shift pattern involves Early and Late shift cover with the earliest start time of 07:00 and the latest finish time of 22.30. - Experience of using Opera or a similar hotel PMS - Impeccable personal grooming standards - Exemplary customer service standards with a luxury mindset - A high level of concentration and attention to detail - Fluent spoken and written English, other languages are a distinct advantage - Team player, problem solving and strong work ethic - Willingness to contribute towards the overall operation of the hotel by covering positions in other departments when required - Good knowledge of Edinburgh and surrounding areas - Recognise the importance of "sales" in every aspect of your role.
