The Warehouse Person is required to participate in our warehouse operations and activities which will eventually lead to the successful applicant training to become a HGV Class 2 Relief Driver for the Bangor Depot.

The core duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Person are as follows:

- Generate (break down) rack locations to create space for new stock.
- Maintain inventory controls by stowing stock away in the relevant location.
- Preparing production orders
- Prepare customer orders by processing delivery ticket requests, pulling materials, banding and labelling consignments, ready for vehicle loading on the night shift.
- Prepare customer orders by processing delivery ticket requests, finding material location and preparing (writing up) all tickets, ready for pulling on the night shift.
- Correctly complete delivery tickets and return to the ticket holding area.
- Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported to the warehouse supervisor or the stock checker.
- Attend Monthly Health and Safety meetings.
- Ensure PPE is always worn in the warehouse.
- Maintain equipment by performing ‘Before Use Checks’ and reporting any faults, via management, to the maintenance team.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all racking and floor areas free from waste.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as specified by your line managers.
