Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Van Driver to join our dynamic team. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Duties

  • Multi-drop van deliveries across NI, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products within the warehouse.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch by packing, labelling, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Assist in regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding inventory levels, order statuses, and any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred, but not essential.
  • A valid driving licence is required; experience in commercial driving or as a van driver is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting is beneficial.
