**ABOUT THE ROLE -**
- Effective ordering of stock items and planning for maintenance breaks - client system and EoS.
- Being initial and key point of contact for the customer
- Responding to client enquiries and requests - Non-stock, across multiple vendors.
- Keep order expediting up to date.
- Supporting the Customer Operations Manager in sourcing activities.
- Receiving deliveries - using both ERIKS and Customer computer systems to log deliveries received. Allocate to correct shelf or correct person dependant on order type.
- Stock checking - counting stock as appropriate following a yearly, monthly or weekly plan. Accurately enter data using customer’s computer system. Check for accuracy in shelf to sheet correlation. Analyse results and correct any discrepancies.
- Consumables ordering - ownership of and ordering of consumable items such as nuts and bolts, grinding discs, thread tape etc
- Hygiene and safety - ownership of Engineering Stores and outside areas from a Hygiene, Safety and organisation perspective. Housekeeping as per daily checklist.
