We are currently recruiting for a **Food & Beverage Service Expert **to join the team at the Courtyard Aberdeen Airport. We are a contemporary hotel for both business and leisure travellers, located just a short walk from Aberdeen International Airport. Our Restaurant & Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and our menu is filled with signature dishes and authentic favourites prepared daily with fresh seasonal produce.

Our F&B Service Experts take the initiative and deliver a wide range of services to make sure that guests enjoy their meal. Whether setting tables, communicating with the kitchen, interacting and serving guests, or cleaning work areas and supplies, the F&B Service Expert makes transactions feel like part of the experience.

Role Requirements:

- Communicating with guests and team members in a professional and warm manner
- In-depth menu knowledge, capable of answering questions about ingredients and allergens and any other queries.
- Time management when serving multiple guests at once including making sure that checkbacks are being completed in a timely manner as well as topping up drinks.
- Ability to communicate clearly with the kitchen and management team to ensure guests needs are met and exceeded.
- Presenting correct bill and taking payment using appropriate system.
- Completing opening and closing duties, including restocking items, setting up tables to uniform standards and ensure the next team is ready for their shift.

F&B Service Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing the menu (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Guest Service Experts - to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.
