**Special Needs Classroom Carer - Special Needs Primary School**

Are you an experienced and passionate Special Needs Classroom Carer who loves to work with children and attend to their needs? We are currently recruiting for a thriving Special Needs School in Richmond as they are seeking an attentive Special Needs ClassroomCarer to support students in Primary. This alternative centre primarily has pupils who have moderate learning needs many of which who have additional learning needs like complex needs and autism.

**The school**:

- An inclusive, welcoming and specialist learning community based in Richmond
- Caters for children and young people aged 4 -19 with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities
- Provides a bespoke learning package for its students, in a safe, calm and engaging learning environment
- Staff receive regular safeguarding training and follow the school's policies
- Offers programme of continuous professional development

**The role**:

- Special Needs Classroom Carer to support pupils from Reception to Year 6
- To provide effective support in class and ensure the children's safety and wellbeing
- To motivate, engage and encourage children to become independent and collaborative learners
- A fantastic opportunity which could lead to a permanent role

**Requirements**:

- Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment
- Must be AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY to work as a Special Needs Classroom Carer
- An affectionate and devoted individual

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
