We are recruiting for a Care Worker for a 9 year old boy with a complex spinal injury
Qualifications and experience are not necessary, but would be preferred. Full training will be given.
The successful applicant must be willing to have full training and be confident and competent in all of our clients’ needs and support him about his day to day life. This may include the following:
- Transfers
- Daily care, such as changing tracheostomy tape and dressing
- Dressing
- Washing
- Toileting
- Giving medication
- Supervision of tracheostomy and ventilator
- Physio routine
- Bedtime routine
- Homework
- Making meals
- Support using equipment, such as standing frame
- Playing / doing activities with the client
**Hours required**:
10 hours in total, possibly split over 2 x 5 hour shifts. Flexibility is required, hours to be worked after school during school term.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £15.65 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Work Location: In person
