My NHS Client is looking for a Accounts Payable Supervisor in Bolton
- Full time MON-FRI -9-5.30 BAND 4 £11.53 Per hour
To work as the team leader of the Accounts Payable department, ensuring all invoices paid and credit notes are processed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions, internal departmental procedures and theobligation to ensure compliance with the Better Payments Practice Code.
Provide training in all aspects of ledger procedures to each member of the Accounts Payable department. To deputise for the Financial Services Manager in their absence.
1. Ensure that all invoices and credit notes are processed, paid and scanned in accordance with the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions, internal departmental procedures and Better Payments Practice Code.
2. Responsible for the day to day management of the Accounts Payable department.
3. Develop, implement and monitor KPI's for the Accounts Payable team and conduct appraisals to ensure performance is at an acceptable level to national targets, such as BPPC.
4. Through effective communication skills, establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and managers within the Trust and members of the Accounts Payable section that contributes to the delivery of a professional service focused on achievingan exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
5. Through audit processes, ensure that the Accounts Payable section adhere to NHS VAT regulations through an in-depth knowledge and interpretation of VAT rules. (Attendance at VAT forums is necessary to assist with the performance of the role).
