**The role: Training Specialist (Sales)**

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Training Specialist **to support our Enterprise Business Unit teams located throughout the UK.

The Training Specialist will be responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating all training programmes that are delivered in the Enterprise Business Unit of Marsh Commercial and will work closely with the SVPs, VP, Training & Development, Operations, Compliance and Quality Assurance teams to ensure that training is delivered to a high standard and meets our regulatory objective.

Please note that Travel may be required including an overnight stay so flexibility is essential

This role would suit either an experienced Sales Trainer looking to move into a larger organisation or possibly a Sales Team Leader from within insurance looking to utilise their experience within a new field.

**We will rely on you to**:

- Collaborate with local managers to understand and help identify skills gaps, create and execute a suitable training solution.
- Have good knowledge creating digital content (such as PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate, Video editing)
- Train on system functionality (Acturis), workflows & procedures. Be able to perform the service team role at a high level.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed and kept timely in accordance with MC's Operational Standards
- Participate in regional workgroups to develop technical and sales training content
- Measure colleague results by monitoring progress towards goals and objectives; instituting methods for continuous improvement in key areas, modifying training plans as needed; measuring the effectiveness of training programs.
- Provide general direction to assure compliance with insurance regulation and other laws; keeps informed of any new legislation that may impact the business
- Protect and promote the Company’s image by following marketing and branding guidelines for all created content
- Maintains project plans, status reports and attends staff and stakeholder meetings on a regular basis

**What you need to have**:

- Experience in creating and delivering structed sales training programmes
- Ability to communicate to a wide range of colleague, and adapt style according to audience
- Strong self management, and ability to work within a team
- Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management and peers.
- Strong interpersonal and sales related skills in dealing with leadership positions, client advisors, insurers and customers.
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.

**What makes you stand out**:

- CIPD qualification preferred, but not essential
- Cert CII (or above) preferred, but not essential if experience in working in an insurance environment
- Knowledge of Acturis
