SureScreen Scientifics Ltd is a world-class laboratory testing. The impressive 1740's Georgian house, only 10 minutes from Derby, surrounded by beautiful gardens, orchard & beehives often frequented by deer, has been renovated over the last 6 years to a busy state of the art scientific laboratory. With a focus on research to deliver new products to the market, this brings a revolving door of excitement.

Working across the three brands of SureScreen Scientifics (Ecology, Engineering and Health), you will be responsible for supporting the marketing strategy to increase the growth of the business. This will include the full marketing mix in both digital and offline, creating new opportunities, helping to improve customer retention and increasing brand awareness. The work will also involve collaborations with all teams across the business including sales, scientists and engineers

Key Accountabilities and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Generate ideas, create and execute tactics to increase brand awareness.
- Finding new ways to acquire new customers and subscribers.
- Finding new ways to retain our current customers and subscribers.
- Assisting with the creation and management of strategy planning and associated documents.
- Help plan and execute product launches across all three brands.
- Research and update team with industry and technological advances, looking into opportunities for a competitive edge.
- Editing and maintaining our websites.
- Generate ideas, create and help to execute digital content such as videos and brochures.
- Help in event planning, creation of material and promotional item, plus attend to help on stand or look for opportunities.
- Management of social media from posts to adverts, keeping calendar and statistics up to date.
- Create marketing materials such as flyers, posters and case studies.
- Supporting the PR agency including influencer updates.
- Help with branding project and launch, plus maintenance thereafter.
- Assist in the management of external third-party agencies for SEO and PPC.
- Assist in measuring digital traffic, engagement, subscribers, Customer Acquisition Cost, Return on Ad Spend etc. and reporting weekly on the effectiveness.
- Supporting the Head of Marketing in completing other marketing activities, where appropriate.
- Previous experience working in a marketing environment for at least 2 years
- Excellent content writing
- Experience of social media management
- Experience in product launches
- A good understanding of, and ideally experience in, digital marketing including website execution and use of Google Analytics and Ads
- Experience in campaign management
- Have assisted with event planning
- Good understanding of how to conduct research and competitor analysis
- Creative skill and thought
- Experience using marketing automation platforms
- Use of CRM and best practice
- A team player with strong project management skills and great attention to detail
- Holistic understanding of marketing and sales cycle
- Highly organised, methodical and analytical person
- Excellent communicator and a desire to improve processes
- Desirable, but not essential, a marketing qualification
