**The Role**

The Senior Commercial Finance Manager will have a balanced portfolio of some heritage companies that are the backbone to the business, but also some earlier stage & entrepreneurial businesses that have exceptional growth & expansion potential.

The role will be extremely hands on with commercial finance activities as it looks to aid decision making and strategic direction through financial analysis and finance business partnering, whilst also reviewing BAU finance as it feeds into group.

The key components of the role will include:

- Directly managing two qualified Accountants
- Reporting to the Financial Controller with a dotted line to the Finance Director
- Working closely with other finance functions - group, FP&A, taxation, treasury

Commercial Finance Duties:

- Finance business partnering with departmental Heads & Managers including non-financial individuals
- Aiding strategic direction and decision making through effective business partnering & financial analysis
- Investment and CAPEX appraisal including presenting to investment & Directorate committee
- P&L management, including ability to understand and challenge variances
- KPI setting and monitoring
- Budget and forecasting
- Cashflow analysis & management

BAU Finance Oversight:

- Preparation and production of monthly management accounts that feed into preparation of statutory accounts & group
- Ensuring a robust financial framework
- Internal and external audit preparation
- Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
- VAT returns

**On Offer**

The role of Senior Commercial Finance Manager is based close to Perth with fantastic flexible and hybrid working. The successful individual is ideally required to be in the office 2 days per week with the rest from home, however the line manager is happyfor individual to only be in the office 1 per day week provided it doesn’t impact business requirements. The role will also offer:

- Up to £57,000 base salary
- Excellent bonus potential

- Flexible and hybrid working - 1 to 2 days in the office per week
