Facilities Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager. As Facilities Manager you will need experience as line manager, budget management, contract management, health and safety management and general facilities operational management.

What does the role consist of?
The Facilities Manager will work closely with colleagues, members, suppliers, clients and other similar institutions.
The position is varied and will include the management of one site across the following areas:
- Management of reception; manage receptionist, area performance, travel, courier usage and stationary usage.
- Management of the annual budget.
- Management of internal systems, for example building alarm, CCTV, phone system, audio visual etc.
- Maintenance of contracts and contractors; catering, cleaners, plants, water systems, and more.
- Management of Health & Safety - for example alarm testing, emergency lighting, PAT, FWT.
- Attending meetings to provide feedback on performance areas.
- Management of venue hire.
- Ensuring insurance policies are in place and up to date.
- Any other reasonable duties required.
About you
- You will hold experience within a similar hands-on facilities position.
- Experienced with technical and hard services such as utilities, building maintenance, fabric refurbishment, office furniture and equipment.
- Experience of integrated systems; fire, access controls, audio visual and telephony etc.
- Experienced line manager.
- Hold line management experience.
- You will have a calm, friendly manner with an ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
What's in it for you?
The Facilities Manager is a permanent and full-time in-office position. The working hours are 8am-4pm, some flexibility on occasion may be required. The salary applicable is £43,391pa (dependent on experience) with the ideal start date for handover late Augustor early September.
