Securitas is looking to build our already fast-growing security team.

Guaranteeing 12 hours per week, Days, Nights, or Weekends

Your working week can be as busy as you want it to be.

The ideal person will be someone who shares the Securitas Values and is passionate and enthusiastic to help deliver a first-class service.

Full on-site training and uniform will be provided.

This is a role that is full of variety, working with different clients, offering plenty of experience and opportunities to develop your security abilities.

**Security Officer covering Leicestershire area, up to 35 miles.**

**Guaranteed 12 - 48 hours contracts per week with the availability for overtime.**

**Pay rate: £10.75 per hour**

**This role will cover a shift pattern of days, nights and weekends varying from 8 to 12 hours each shift**
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
- Conduct external and internal security patrols.
- Carry out routine tests of security equipment.
- Maintain all logbooks and records, ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures. Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Display an outstanding level of customer service.
- Display the highest standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.

- Be willing and able to work shifts covering days, nights and week-ends

**Some things you will need**:

- Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment
- A valid SIA Licence
- A full UK driving licence and own transport due to location of client's sites.
