We’re looking for **experienced and versatile Groundworkers** to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction and civil engineering projects. **Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out a wide range of **groundwork activities**, including drainage, kerbing, slabbing, concreting, and ducting.
- Prepare and level sub-bases to specification, ensuring solid foundations for follow-on trades.
- Lay and finish **concrete, paving, and edgings** to a high standard.
- Assist with **excavation, backfilling, and reinstatement works**.
- Operate plant and equipment such as **dumpers, rollers, and small excavators** safely and efficiently.
- Read and work from **drawings and site levels** accurately.
- Maintain a **tidy, safe, and efficient working area**, following all site safety procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors and other trades to ensure the programme and quality standards are met.

**Essential Requirements**
- ** Valid CSCS card.**
- Proven experience in a **varied groundwork role**.
- Skilled in using **hand and power tools**, with experience in **drainage, kerbing, and finishing works**.
- Capable of operating **dumpers and rollers** (with valid CPCS/NPORS tickets).
- Reliable, proactive, and able to manage tasks with mínimal supervision.

**Desirable**
- Additional **CPCS/NPORS tickets** (e.g. 360 Machine, Telehandler, Dumper, Roller).
- 5+ years’ experience in groundwork, civil engineering, or hard landscaping.
- Experience working as part of a **small team or gang** on large-scale projects.
