We are looking for a new Part-Time **Lunch Assistant **to join our team

This role will be focused on working within the kitchen team, preparing meals, cleaning, and supporting the Head Cook.

**About the Position**

**Contract Type**:Part-time, 6 months fixed term contract

**Working hours**:10am - 1:30pm, Monday to Friday

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

**Start Date**:Immediate start available

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Head Cook in the preparation of food and beverages and cooking meals
- Maintaining safe and hygienic working practices at all times
- Assisting with general washing up
- Assisting with food service as necessary at lunchtime and during functions

- Has experience working within a kitchen (desirable)
- Is practical and organised
- Is approachable and friendly
- Has an up-to-date working knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety guidelines (desirable)
- Can work collaboratively as a team player
