**Barista Work Schedule**

**About Project Coffee**
We are situated in a delightful community driven village, located in the north of Swindon. We are seeking an experienced Barista to join the café team & serve our beautifully unique and organic coffees.

Project Coffee is a new independent venture founded by two friends who got together over a passion for unequivocally excellent coffee and the craftsmanship behind it. Sourcing exceptionally high quality beans from world famous roasteries, Project Coffee promises to deliver a rare and contemporary experience. Our guests can expect a warm and relaxing environment with rustic and industrial décor bursting with greenery, whilst they enjoy a unique coffee roast.

**About the role**
Your high quality barista skills and desire to consistently provide a premium product to guests will be an asset in securing this role. Your role reports directly to the Supervisor.

This is not just any barista role. We are creating a brand that epitomizes a higher standard compared to the “traditional” coffee shop. We are looking to build an elite team of professional baristas who can demonstrate the science behind coffee and deliver the utmost excellence in terms of product and service. Delivering an immersive experience, our customers must know from the second they walk into the building that we are going above and beyond to the Nth degree to deliver a meticulously prepared product.

Some duties will include:

- Maintaining brand standards
- Cash handling
- Preparing food and hot/cold drinks including, smoothies, milkshakes, mocktails
- Serving customers at the POS
- General back of bar and end of shift cleaning
- Helping with marketing activities
- Excellent barista skills, weighing & timing shots, knowledge of adjusting grinders and latte art
- A thriving passion for coffee, how it’s made, its origins and its delivery
- Knowledge and experience in using a range of milk alternatives
- Attention to detail, high quality of work, and customer focused
- Prior experience working as a Barista within a fast working environment
- Have a friendly, outgoing personality
- Well presented
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 3 years (preferred)
