Dental Receptionist

**Cosmetic Dental Practice Part-Time Receptionist - Bishop Auckland, North East England - New Position due to an expanding team and days on offer**

Auckland Cosmetic Dental Clinic is a trusted and patient-centric award winning private dental clinic dedicated to providing exceptional oral healthcare services. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for patient satisfaction, we are looking for a skilled Part Time Receptionist to join our team as we have recently expanded our dental team and need to add to our current team

**Position Overview**

As a Receptionist at Auckland Cosmetic Dental Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our patients. The practice is centred around the whole patient journey. Your primary responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling enquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. We want to add a positive and forward thinking receptionist to our existing team.
- £12.30- £12.50 per hour depending on experience
- Working Hours available**:8.30am - 7.30pm Tuesday & Wednesday** **8.30am-7.30pm**:

- Part time position

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, maintaining an organised appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls and address patient enquiries promptly and courteously.
- Manage patient records and update necessary information.
- Handle billing and insurance-related tasks accurately.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the efficient flow of patients.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a receptionist role required - Previous dental experience is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
- Proficiency in using office software and computer systems.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus but not required.
