**Butchery Assistant - Cranstons Production Site**

Cranstons production unit is busy yet rewarding as we provide food to our 6 retail outlets and wholesale customers.

We pride ourselves in the quality of our local, handmade produce that feeds people throughout Cumbria. We make everything on site including freshly baked cakes, sausage rolls, deluxe salads and tasty pies.

We are excited to be recruiting for a Butchery Assistant, working within our busy butchery production team. You will join a well established team, as we prepare for all things Christmas

Day to day your main tasks will be:

- Supporting our in house butchers prepare a range of products for our shops and wholesale customers
- Help operate machinery
- Pack and load items ready for dispatch
- Cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards

As this is a busy department some heavy lifting will be required and this role requires lots of standing.

This role has a Monday - Friday shift pattern with start time falling between 6am and 8am and finish time falling between 3pm and 5pm. We are able to discuss part time opportunities on an individual basis.

No previous experience is needed as full internal training will be provided. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial but not essential.

Pay: Up to £12.29 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
