**Your Role in Our Journey**

We are seeking an experienced and talented Art Conservator to join our Conservation Team as a Team Leader. You will be responsible for overseeing the restoration and conservation of fine artworks and antiques, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. As our Conservation Team Leader, you will be the focal point that guides our clients through their recovery journey. Your primary mission is to act as the bridge between the homeowners, their insurers, loss adjusters, and our team of skilled artisans by effortlessly communicating the restoration process to all parties.

You will carry the baton of leadership, inspiring your team to work in harmony. You communicate effortlessly, captivating your audience with empathy and commitment to their cause.

- Serve as the main point of contact and build strong working relationships with homeowners, insurance loss adjusters, and the conservation team.
- Assess and evaluate the extent of damage to fine artworks and antiques, determining appropriate conservation techniques and procedures.
- Develop comprehensive restoration plans, including timelines and cost estimates, and present them to clients and insurance adjusters.
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of restoration projects, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and timelines.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the conservation team, resolving complex or challenging restoration issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address client concerns, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all restoration projects, including condition reports, treatment details, and photographs.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging techniques, and materials related to art conservation, and share knowledge with the team.
- Collaborate with other departments within Richfords to ensure seamless communication and efficient project management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art Conservation, Conservation Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in art conservation, with expertise in restoring fine artworks and antiques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with homeowners, insurance loss adjusters, and high-profile clients.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a team of conservators.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and project management.
- Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to various sites within London and the Southeast and work at our facility near Bracknell.
- A passion for art and cultural heritage preservation, committed to delivering outstanding results.
