**The Blackburn Bus Company is recruiting Bus Drivers to be based at our Intack Depot in Blackburn.**

The Blackburn Bus Company part of Transdev Blazefield run over 500 buses from 9 bases across the North of England, enabling nearly 40 million journeys each year - all thanks to the commitment of our 1,400 colleagues. We create buses that people are proud to be seen on, and our aim is to make the bus integral to the towns and cities we serve.

**What are we able to offer you**
- If you are a **Trainee Bus Driver**you'll start on an hourly rate of **£14.97** per hour after one year service you will go onto the qualified bus driver rate
- If you are a **Qualified Bus Driver** you'll start on an hourly rate of **£15.97** per hour
- You will be contracted to **38**hours per week

**What will you be doing?**
- Carry out a daily walk round check of your vehicle to ensure safety
- Assist with any customer queries
- Collect fares from passengers
- Maintain passenger safety at all times
- Follow the planned schedule for the route

**What do we need from you?**
- Have a car driving licence
- Be able to pass a D2/D4 medical
- Be 18 years old or over
- Believe in delivering exceptional customer service
- Enjoy meeting and interacting with people
