Main duties include receipt, storage and issues of pharmaceutical products, including the maintenance of records. To use the current Inventory management systems including Pharmacy automation to provide the Pharmacy distribution service.

Applicants must have a GCSE in English, Mathematics and Science level 4 or Grade C or above (or equivalent) and have keyboard skills.

Experience in working in pharmacy would be desirable but is not essential, but applicants must be keen to learn, hardworking and able to work under pressure and do manual handling of goods.

To undertake Level 2 intermediate level apprenticeship in Health (Pharmacy Services) at LPE&T and Level 2 NVQ certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) within the Pharmacy department.

To assist with the receipt, storage and issues of pharmaceutical products, including the maintenance of records.

To use the current Inventory management systems including Pharmacy automation to provide the Pharmacy distribution service.

To monitor expiry dates of stock held in the Pharmacy as per timetable To make up emergency kits.
