We are looking for a 2nd line support engineer with experience in any number of the technologies listed below to join a team of diversely skilled like minded engineers to work collaboratively across multiply service accounts within a shared service. Thisrole will involve:

- Event Management - proactively monitor all infrastructure using MOD provisioned LBS Support tooling and act as required when particular events/notifications occur.
- Incident Management - shall receive, log, prioritise, route, monitor and manage tickets within the remedy incident management system (ITSM) and adhere to the Critical Service Levels.
- Problem Management - updating Records in the Authority's Remedy Tool and conduct root cause analysis and resolution for all Incidents and Defects in accordance with agreed CSL's.
- Request Fulfilment - will receive and fulfil account service requests to provision user's access to the hosting environment.

**Requirements**:

- Good understanding of Active Directory (DHCP/DNS/GPO).
- Good understanding of Remedy Incident Management System (ITSM).
- Experience in supporting secure IT infrastructures.
- Experience in incident resolution and/or system management of secure IT infrastructures.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Anti-Virus management and reporting.
- Eligible for DV clearance.
