Working Foreman (Carpenter)

We are seeking a highly ambitious and results driven Working Site Foreman with experience in leading a site team. The individual will take pride in their work and be able to lead and inspire others to do the same. They will work on a range of large scale extensions, house renovations, barn conversions and one-off bespoke new builds.

**Key duties will include**:

- Responsibility for the implementation of company Health and Safety policies on a day to day basis.
- Leading and managing other tradespersons on site to deliver great projects on budget and on time.
- Balancing their management duties effectively with carrying out their own trades works on site where required.
- Working closely with the Site Operations Manager to ensure targets are understood and met.
- Working closely with the Site Operations Manager to ensure that materials, plant and other resources arrive on site in a timely fashion.
- Interpreting plans, drawings and specifications to ensure that the build is delivered in line with the design.
- Communicating effectively with others when there are suspected variations to the specification.
- Being an outstanding role model for others within the company to respect and replicate.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in a similar site leadership role.
- Preferably, but not essentially, a carpentry background.
- A growth mindset, with a skill for developing themselves and others around them.
- Dedicated, organised, and transparent attributes that contribute to their good people skills and solid communication skills.
- An ability to overcome problems quickly and keep the site team moving forward efficiently.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £17.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
