**Client Details**
A medium sized business, based in offices in the Walton-On-Thames area, with free parking provided and very easy access via public transport.
This is a hybrid role, offering 2 days per week working from home.
**Description**
The Finance Assistant (Hybrid, with AAT study support) role involves;
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- Review and reconcile supplier statements.
- Process invoices
- Liaise with suppliers with invoice related queries.
- Ensure relevant information is supplied to the Treasury Accountant to produce payments on a timely basis.
- Reconcile and manage the GRNI account and ensure held invoices are released as soon as possible.
- Timely receipting of monies received from customers in SAP and reconcile the accounts to bank statements.
- Assist in the management of the treasury requirements of the company to include management of the invoice discounting facility and bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Provide information to external bodies as directed by the finance manager for statutory audit and banking audits.
- To undertake, as directed, any other duties as may be commensurate with the overall efficient running of the Company.
- Role Includes:
- Assisting with sales ledger, nominal ledger and cash books as required.
**Profile**
- will be looking for their first or second role in accounts
- will be currently studying, or looking to study, an AAT qualification.
- live locally as this role is office based for 3 days per week (and 2 from home)
- previous purchase ledger experience is desirable (not essential)
- Italian language would be useful, but is by no means necessary.
**Job Offer**
The Finance Assistant (Hybrid, with AAT study support) role offers a base salary of £20-24,000 per annum, plus benefits;
- 37.5 hours working week (7.5 hours p/day ideally between 09.00 - 17:30, but flexible start/finish times)
- 25 days annual holiday (2 to be taken between xmas and new year)
- Contributory pension scheme - Company doubles staff contributions (with a cap at 10%)
