B2B Marketing has successfully evolved from a legacy publisher into a community intelligence business. Community Intelligence means providing B2B Marketers with access to expert advice and education, peer to peer learning and market intelligence via in person/online events and digital community throughout the year. Our digital community Propolis sits at the heart of our strategy with our in-person conferences, awards, training and bespoke marketing services providing key moments to bring the industry together throughout the year in the EMEA and US.

**The opportunity**:
Become a part of a founder-owned entrepreneurial business, in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment. Working with the Head of Content and Head of Marketing the Editor will define and build our content strategy for the next three to five years.
The Editor’s primary responsibilities will be: owning the content that sits on B2Bmarketing.net to achieve our strategic goals; helping to deliver world-class sessions at our conferences; hosting podcasts and webinars with the world’s most senior marketers; and developing content around our latest data product, The Community Index.
The business has changed radically in the past three years, and we’re looking for an entrepreneurial Editor who can help shape what content we should be publishing to achieve our strategic goals.
**Core deliverables**:
- Working with the world’s largest marketing agencies and technology vendors to co
- create amazing content that helps all three parties succeed
- Act as a regular co-host for The B2B Marketing Podcast, and the go-to host for our B2B Marketing webinars, becoming a voice in the marketing industry.
- Interviewing the world’s most senior marketers, and turning their expertise into insightful articles/podcast episodes (strong writing skills required).
- Working with our sales team to develop and manage new processes, to ensure that the content we create is only of the highest standard, and our clients have a superb experience.
- Manage a roster of freelancers to create the content you need to achieve our goals.
- Working with our in-house design team and marketing teams to ensure the content you create looks the part, and reaches the right people
- Working with the Head of Content to handpick select pieces of high-value content to feed our audience.
- Working with our conference speakers to ensure their session titles and synopses do their content justice, and ensure attendees want to attend our events.
- Owning the content schedule for B2Bmarketing.net and ensuring that our audience has a regular supply of insightful, interesting, useful content that meets their needs, and develops our own audience database.
**About you**:
- An Editor with at least three or four years of proven experience editing, writing, proofing and scheduling content.
- A highly organised person, who is able to map out every stage of a project across several months, and hold different parties accountable to deadlines.
- Ideally, someone with a strong knowledge of marketing (i.e. different strategies and tactics). Note: this is not essential, but it would definitely help If you’re not familiar with the industry, that’s fine, but you would need to be able to pick this up quite quickly upon joining (we can support you in this).
- A people-person, comfortable interviewing and speaking with C-suite marketing individuals on webinars/podcasts.
