**Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm **
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Controller to join a business who specialise within the distribution of food goods to restaurants chains throughout Europe.
They are seeking a Stock Controller to support the current stock management team in the management and coordination of global stock inventories 8 EU sites.
*Work from home 2 days per week minimum

- Proven experience of working in a similar stock control position
- Food supply chain or similar industry experience is desirable
- Experienceof Sage is desirable
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience of working within a fast paced, busy logistics office
- A strong understanding of supply chain management
- A high attention to detail is essential
- The ability to prioritise workloads
- Flexible approach
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Competent decision making
**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Build an understanding of all stock related systems and transactions
- Stock reconciliations with Sage X3 and 3rd Party WMS Systems
- Investigate and problem solve stock variances in a timely manner
- Monitor shelf life and rotation on a weekly basis
- Coordinate stock inventories and cycle counts
- Monitor stock on hold and action disposal
- Create and submit pre-advice sheets to warehouses prior to goods arrival
- Check shipment documents
- Check and confirm all goods in and enter receipts to system
- Record any damages or shortages and report on time in full deliveries
- Assist with customs entries in X3
- Liaise with transport team, suppliers on stock demand enquiries
- Check and analyse stock level impact of supplier or haulier delays
- Update system for amended orders and delivery date
- Liaising with suppliers / warehouses around variances and quality issues
- Effectively analyse data and create / update reports / KPIs as required
- Compile the necessary information about new and current products. Create and update Product Specification Forms and ensure all data is reflected and accurate in all systems internally and externally and X3
- Ensure procedures are followed and establish process review
- Assist and gather data and information on recalls and quality issues
- Respond to enquiries from all department on all stock related issues
- Provide feedback to Stock Control Manager
