Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been re-engaged by a major North Devon employer to assist in their search for a Sales Ledger Assistant. The business has a major stronghold in the services sector and now operates on an international scale.

The company seeks to recruit a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their Barnstable based team of five, processing a high volume of transactions and servicing multiple companies. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a junior level applicant with baselineaccounting experience who seek to develop a long-term career in the sector.

The position works within a friendly and highly experienced team that operate in a fast-paced environment. Core responsibilities to include:

- Ensuring sales ledger accounts are well maintained and kept in an orderly manner.
- Responding to and resolving sales ledger queries proficiently.
- Where required, assisting with monthly reconciliations and the reporting of information.
- Maintaining the administration of the internal costing system and assisting other users with its use.
- Meeting objectives and developing strong relationships with the whole Finance team.
- Credit Control - sending out statements monthly, contacting clients regarding late payments.
