Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger

Barnstaple - £22000

Your responsibilities will include:

- Management of supplier rebate
- Inputting, coding, and processing invoices on a daily basis
- Prepare month end payment runs according to company standards and in line with internal controls
- Ensure key accounts are managed appropriately as priority to minimise impacts of late payment
- Build solid supplier relationships
- Supplier statement reconciliation and control, good maintenance of aged account
- Process expenses in line with company policy
- Assist in inter company account reconciliation

In order to be successful, you will need:

- Previous experience of working on purchase ledger / working in a busy finance department
- Good Excel and Word skills
- Effective communicator (both written and verbally), internally and externally
- Track record of being highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Essential - 2 Year's experience in purchase ledger or similar
