**ROLE: Accounts Assistant**

**SALARY: Up to £26,000**

**LOCATION: Birmingham City Centre (office based)**

**THE COMPANY**: We are currently working with a leading business, based in Birmingham, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning business, who have been well established for almost 25 years.

Due to the nature of the business, this role is very fast paced and so the ability to work well under pressure, is a must.

The successful individual will also have strong Excel skills and a good attention to detail.

**DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- Supporting with the sales and purchase ledger, including inputting invoices, allocating payment and payment runs.
- Preparing banking reports and bank reconciliation.
- Processing petty cash.
- Allocating and chasing debtors.
- Ad hoc administrative duties.
