**FP&A Analyst - Retail** **Basingstoke** **c£45,000 - £50,000** Barribal Associates are delighted to be continuing to work with this well regarded and high growth business who are embarking on a comprehensive and exciting finance transformation project with a desire to provide a "best in class" service to the operationalbusiness. The company is a multi-site retailer with a reputation for delivering outstanding value and customer service. The business has grown significantly over the last decade to become one of the leading players in this niche, high demand market. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be supporting decision making across the business by delivering timely management information that leads to improvements in processes, sales, profitability, and cash flow. You will have demonstrable experience of finance business partnering and in-depth, insightful analysis from which the operational teams within your customer base can make informed and commercially focussed decisions. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Producing timely and accurate management information in accordance with internal deadlines and in compliance with the Group accounting policies (FRS101 & IFRS). - Preparing monthly management accounts packs for reporting to the Board and the business as a whole. - Driving the annual budgeting process, as well as the quarterly re-budgeting and full year forecasting processes, working with Senior Managers to deliver a consolidated budget / forecast. - Developing tools to improve the budgeting and forecasting processes and fostering a collaborative planning approach. - Monitoring / reporting on cash flow performance on a daily basis, maintaining the rolling forecast. - Reviewing the sales and margin report, issued to senior management, identifying and addressing any issues with inaccuracies of incoming data. - Producing monthly rebates analysis and apportionment across Retail sites. - Maintaining management reporting systems to ensure integrity and accuracy - Managing the accounting of fixed assets in accordance with company policies. - Continually improving management reports to meet the growing needs of the business. - Coaching and development of the financial analysts, including annual appraisals and periodic reviews with team members. - Establishing credibility as a finance partner to the business and driving the delivery of solutions through developing strong relationships across the operational functions.
