**We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP Parc, working as a Cover Supervisor. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.**

We operate numerous hubs across the United Kingdom, where our specialist teams are on hand to support Adults and Children to improve their employability prospects post-release.

**Site Information**

HMP Parc is a Category B men's prison located in Bridgend, Wales. The prison accommodates individuals who have been convicted of various offenses requiring secure custody and rehabilitation. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe at all times. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

**Role Responsibilities**

As a Cover Supervisor you will develop and deliver high quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus Gower policies and procedure; supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector. **Skills, Qualifications and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
- Have experience of achieving of quality targets
- Have experience of producing accurate and timely reports
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners
- Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload, and meet deadlines and targets
- Always commit to positive teamworking
