This role
Our Engagement Co-Ordinator plays a vital role here at our Halifax Bakery, leading the colleague engagement plans and programme to ensure trust and valued relationships are developed. They will report to our Site HRBP and will extend their knowledge, support and experience to a wide range of stakeholders, including our amazing colleagues, site leadership team, people managers and visitors.
You will also have the opportunity to align with other areas of the HR function such as Learning & Development, Reward, Recruitment and Occupational Health & Wellbeing, to enhance our employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. We know _how _we do something is critical to what we do, so you need to bring your confidence in collaborating to the role.
Your key deliverables will be:
- To work with the Site HRBP and support further development of the site Engagement strategy and roadmap
- Taking ownership for the delivery of the Experience agenda
- To drive and champion the annual site engagement survey
- To work with the Site Leadership team in a champion capacity to continuously support their cultural change journey
- Role modelling pladis winning traits and behaviours and bring fresh thinking to site to support all colleagues in developing and exhibiting the correct behaviours
- To maintain a network of contacts within the local community and beyond, driving social connections and CSR opportunities locally
- To drive the diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda at site, leading on action planning to create a sense of belonging and a culture of inclusion
- Actively listen and act as a point of conscience for the site leadership team to drive progress and continuous improvement
Bring your experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, engage, influence and empower to actively drive forward the engagement agenda through others
- Well-developed planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Proven experience of working in a HR environment with understanding of Engagement drivers
- Passion and drive to challenge the norm to help create a better work environment for all colleagues
- Ability to build respected, trusted and supportive relationships with key partners
- A personal desire to continuously learn and develop to ensure new practices and thinking are understood and accepted
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent (or working towards)
