Bid Executive

We are looking for an ambitious bid professional to join our team as a Bid Executive. The role forms an integral part of our Bid, Marketing and Business Development team and is crucial in securing new business and the ongoing growth and success of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids which will primarily include the preparation of pre-qualification questionnaires, tender documents, and private company proposals.
- Collect tender information from various channels and review bid deliverables to compose targeted proposals aligned to specific client requirements.
- Maintain and enhance pre-written content, templates, and other standard materials to expand and improve our Bid Library.
- Work with our team of engineers to develop written technical content.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-bid reviews.
- Liaise with design team members to input into team-based submissions.
- Input into a CRM system (NetSuite) to log new and completed bids.

**About You**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working within a Bids or equivalent department.
- Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to manage different bids and priorities at the same time while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide creative solutions to a client's problems and being able to visualise alternative ways of presenting the information.
- Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to take initiative, working both independently and as part of a close-knit project team.
- Motivated and confident with good communication skills.
- Team player, conscientious and dedicated.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office suite.

**Advantageous**:

- Experience in the construction industry or professional services would be an advantage.
- Experience using Adobe Creative products, primarily Adobe InDesign.
- Experience with CRM Systems.
