**Job description**

Permanent full time position available

Monday to Friday - 7.30am-5.00pm (42.5hrs per week, 1 hour for lunch

Duties will include (but not to be limited to):

- Goods receiving of deliveries, booking goods in on computer system
- Putting stock away,
- Keeping counter stock topped up, keeping warehouse tidy
- Picking and packing of orders
- Dealing with customers on the trade counter
- Answering telephone if needed
- Driving licence would be an advantage but not necessary

The applicant must have good organisational and communication skills, possess a positive attitude, be willing to learn

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent

**Experience**:

- Warehouse or trade counter work prefered
- Some basic computer knowledge would be advantageous
- Experience in a similar environment is advantageous, but not essential as training will be given.

Our Ideal person would be honest, punctual, reliable, self motivated, want to learn about the products we sell which are mainly joinery related items (Ironmongery/ fixings/ hand tools/ power tools), able to work alone and / or as part of a team
