Cass & Reconciliations Team Member

**The Role**:
We are currently recruiting for Reconciliations and CASS Team Member to join our new Central Services Finance team based in Retford. This role would suit a person who is confident and looking to enter the world of finance. You will be a natural problem solver with a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills both verbal and written. As the business goes through an exciting growth period, there will be many opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects.

**Location**: Based near Retford Train Station, means there are great transports links should you wish to travel by train, car, or bus. We also have free car parking close to the office.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be using our client broking systems called Acturis, Websure, SSP and TAM
- You will have access to multiple online banking accounts
- You will carry out weekly bank reconciliations on multiple broking systems
- You will be performing the Monthly Insurer Money and Client money calculations
- You will be completing the Monthly Paper Bank Reconciliations
- You will be responsible for investigating any unallocated and unidentified cash
- You will be responsible for logging any Breaches
- You will assist with Month End Reporting
- You will also be assisting other teams in the Finance Department as required

**Experience**:

- You will be at an intermediate level using MS Excel,
- You will be naturally keen to learn and progress, confident and passionate about accounts,
- You will have an understanding and comfort with dealing with financial terms and research
- You will be able to learn new Financial Software quickly and to a high standard
- You will have a positive ‘can do attitude’ and will be a natural problem solver, along with a high level of attention to detail,
- You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written,
- You will be self-motivated with a high attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines, under pressure,
- You will be able to work as part of a team collaboratively as well as on your own initiative,
