Hancocks Cash & Carry Limited is part of the World of Sweets Group and has exciting opportunities for a motivated individual looking for full time work at our Chester-le-Street Cash & Carry Store (DH2 1AG).

**Hours: 7.5 hours per week - Thursday 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. and Sunday 8.45 a.m. - 1.15 p.m.**

Key duties:

- Customer service for example building customer relationships in Store, answering the telephone, using tills or resolving queries using IT systems
- Efficient stock management including replenishment, stock rotation, date checking, labelling and taking ownership of areas of the Store and making it your own
- Picking stock for customer orders in a timely manner and getting them ready for collection or delivery
- Receiving deliveries and being able to check off delivery notes, both physically and using IT systems for goods in receipt
- Using initiative to carry out tasks as required but also working as part of a team

We're looking for individuals with:

- Experience within a retail, warehouse or customer service environment
- Cash handling / till / checkout experience
- Good organisation and communications skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
- Drive and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment
- A friendly and approachable person who can build customer relationships
- A person who isn't afraid of getting stuck in at busy times to meet customer demands

A valid FLT Licence would be advantageous or a willingness to train for a licence.
