ASG Estates Ltd is an establish estate agency based between Barnsley and Sheffield.

We are looking for a Head of Sales Operations to join our innovative and forward-thinking team to lead our existing sales teams in selling our homes with an established reputation for quality and style.

As Head of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for marketing and advertising developments with the key objective of achieving sales at the appropriate prices as agreed with the Managing Director. Ensure that each development meets the organisational targets (monthly, quarterly, half year and yearly) for reservations and completions, turnover timescale to exchange, forward sales and sale of stock units.

The post holder will be required to actively promote best practice throughout the organisation with overall responsibility for the management of the sales function. Positively influencing the progression and growth, key areas of responsibility will include setting budgets, maximising opportunities and achieving the organisational targets.

Management of staff including Sales Managers to ensure all sales leads generated to their respective developments are efficiently handled with successful conversion rates. Ensure sales targets are achieved and monitor the delivery of our high standards of customer service and aftersales. Evaluation of all aspects of sales activity, identifying areas for development drafting and reviewing action plans. Mentor and performance manage sales managers.

Familiarisation with local competitor’s sites, activities and promotions and creating marketing strategies for all developments ensuring excellent market intelligence is available and monitor the effectiveness of advertising expenditure in relation to maximising sales revenue.

Prepare and provide meaningful, accurate marketing reports to be presented at marketing and other meetings as required

The Head of Sales Operations will work closely with the Construction Managing Director to ensure company standards are maintained and shall be actively involved with all stages of each project from pre-development, by providing accurate market research reports for land appraisals, to formal legal completion.

The opening days for all sales and marketing offices include weekends and as such the Head of Sales Operations is required to demonstrate reasonable flexibility with regards to days worked. It is expected the post holder will work at weekends when required to do so.

Typical travel requirement of a two to three hour radius of Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
