**Buyer, Wimborne**

**The purpose of this role**:
Rubicon's client is looking for a Buyer to become an essential part of the company's procurement process. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be part of a growing company and have the opportunity to progress.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Build supplier relationships and negotiate terms of contract, pricing, rebates and lead times, whilst monitoring and report rebate performance to maximise gains.
- Arrange and lead regular supplier business review meetings.
- Ensure systems are in place to track and manage deliveries, providing clear communication on delivery dates.
- Managing stock and leading monthly stock review meetings.
- Using SAGE 50 for time maintenance of deliveries, processing purchase requests and raising purchase orders.
- Manage the RMA process with supplier, as well as sourcing new suppliers as required.
- Line management for one member of staff within the purchasing team.

**Skills & experience**:

- Ability to build relationships with supplier and work with third party vendors and escalating for technical support.
- Commercial acumen, effective decision making and the ability to negotiate.
- Strong attention to detail, and able to work within deadlines.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team.
- Five years' experience in a purchasing role (Desirable).
- Strong technical knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- CIPS Level 4.
- GCSE passes in Maths and English, or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving License.
