**The Role**:
As a business they are wanting an all round transactional Accounts Assistant who is wanting to gain more exposure, that is able to assist with a bit of everything within the accounts function. The role itself will be initially focused around managing the customers and all related administration on the accounts receivable ledger. It isn’t a typical ledger in the sense you will not be chasing debt, the customers generally pay on time and the customer side is more of relationship management. You will allocate the cash, set up new customers, provide statements, and do the day to day of the AR whilst also supporting on the Purchase Ledger. The role will evolve in time, taking on more of the whole overall accounts process as the business is currently looking at the duty distribution across the team.
**Requirements**:
- You must also have a good working knowledge of the overall accounts process and ideally have other transactional finance skills.
- You must be comfortable with VLOOKUPS and Pivot tables, this is essential.
- Attention to detail, organisation and the ability to work to strict deadlines is a key attribute for this position
The role is paying up to £30,000 with flexible working hours with the option to condense your hours to 4 working days and have Fridays off. Holidays start at 33 days per year (including Bank Holidays) plus a number of other additional benefits. Aside from the benefits, you will be part of a close knit, friendly team that have just upgraded their offices and the group is constantly re-investing into the business.
Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
