This is an exciting time to join our business as it continues to grow at pace and will provide an opportunity for a rewarding and varied role for the successful applicant.

**Key areas of responsibility of a Despatch Team Leader**:

- Manage the Despatch function of the Hurn warehouse, ensuring customer orders are getting out in the required SLA
- Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance and despatch activities
- Provide leadership, coaching and development to the operatives working in the despatch section.
- Be customer focused and ensuring a high quality of service is provided to the customer.
- To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high quality standard.
- Be proactive in identifying developmental needs in current work practices and procedures
- Lead by example
- Liaise with the Client Support team on Customer queries in a timely manner for any despatch queries
- Passionate about making a positive impact
- Have good people skills and the ability to get the best out of people.
- Numerate, articulate and logical thinking.
- Have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage own workload and work with minimum supervision
- Excellent communications skills.
- Ability to work supportively as part of a team and with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and ability to work within required standards.
- Possess good leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage others.
- Team Management or established team leading experience is essential.
- Flexible to meet the needs of the business.

**Hours**:
The working hours are 40 hours per week, 08:30am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday

**Salary and Benefits**:
