Salary and Benefits of the Customer Service Advisor:

Charles Taylor Assistance is one of the leading global providers of medical assistance, travel risk and claims management services. We support over 5 million customers every year and 170,000 travel claims. We are expanding our Customer Service team and we are now looking for number of Customer Service Advisors who have natural empathy and a flair for making a difference to our travel customers.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for taking inbound calls from our customers who are needing to declare their pre-existing medical conditions in line with the terms and conditions of their travel insurance policy. You will be carrying our risk assessments using an automated system, to evaluate the level of medical cover we can provide.

Duties and responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor:

- Taking inbound calls from customers who are looking to take out a new travel insurance policy, or update existing medical screenings
- Accurately carry out medical screenings
- Dealing with all calls in confidence and in an empathetic manor

Experience and knowledge Customer Service Advisor:

- Customer service experience - helpful but not essential
- A clear and confident phone manor
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be able to record data accurately and efficiently
