**JOB TITLE**:Procurement Manager

**SALARY**: £45,000 - £50,000 flexible depending on experience

**In this role you will need to**:

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for allocated categories
- Act as a procurement single point of contact for allocated and ad hoc contracts
- Undertake Indirect category procurement's in consultation with Head of Department and Key Stakeholders across the business
- Able to conduct end to end tender processes, manage and maintain key strategic supplier relationships
- Deliver a range of indirect procurement tenders, for the wider company and smaller subsidiaries, when and if necessary
- Contribute to pipeline planning and monthly reporting
- Maintain key stakeholder relationships to understand and support business strategy through management and delivery of pipeline projects in a timely manner
- Obtain whole life cost efficiency's for the Group by linking purchase cost, efficiency, support, and ongoing maintenance to ensure the most efficient procurement solutions are obtained
- Supporting the team members on projects when required as well as the development and maintenance of supplier matrix

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- CIPS Qualified or almost qualified preferred (*or equivalent)
- Knowledge and experience of using e-sourcing, tendering and database systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing & presentations
- Confident negotiator and ability to engage and engage and advise senior stakeholders, as well as the ability to lead and influence project delivery
- Excellent experience in the management and delivery of Indirect & or other large procurement projects, including IT, Health and Safety, and a range of other traditional indirect categories
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Managing and delivering multiple large value contracts and tenders within challenging timescales
- Work independently with limited supervision
