PREVIOUS LONDON INSURANCE MARKET EXPERIENCE PREFFERED

My client is an international Specialist Insurer and they are looking for a Release Manager to join their London team and be involved in time planning, testing, tracking, release, deployment, communication, and risk management for International projects.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle (including Send technology, DMS, Doc Gen, Claims Management projects).
- Communicate the project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. to/between different teams.
- Track the progress and find issues, if any. Always work towards improving the processes associated with the release cycles.
- Make sure that the release is planned, according to the requirements and budget.
- Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
- Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule.
- Plan and publish weekly updates on the release activities.
- Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully, whenever needed.
- Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software.

**Required skills/ experience**:

- Previous Release Management experience
- Needs to work UK hours. Also, weekend support may be needed, depending on the release cycle/s planned.
- Needs to have excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytics skills.
- Would need to ensure that Dev.,Test and QA environments across regions are uniform in terms of CRs/functionalities implemented
- Experience in PAS IRIS system/s and Insurance / Re-Insurance domain/s is an added plus
- Experience in implementing DB stored procedures, executing SQL scripts and working knowledge of IRIS code DB is highly desirable
