This is a permanent post for a Finance Manager based in Newbury, the role would be a standalone post.

You will lead on the budget and planning exercise, production of regular management and financial accounts and relevant cashflow forecasts

You will be commercially minded and develop our pricing and profitability understanding for various products, business areas and overseas operations

**Description**

The key responsibilities of the Hybrid Newbury based Finance Manager will be to:

- Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
- Manage the bookkeepers, accountants, tax advisors, HMRC, Insurance brokers, pension providers and banks
- Producing financial reports related to budgets, expense analysis, cash flow forecasts etc.
- Developing models to predict business financial trends and aid discussion and business decisions
- Developing annual and long-term business plans along with the business managers
- Developing strategies that work to manage and minimise financial risk
- To regularly review contracts with suppliers, utility providers ensuring best value for money.
- Analysing market trends and competitors

**Profile**
- Part Qualified Accountant
- An analytical mind with advanced Excel skills and ability to develop financial models
- Commercial and business awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong?working relationships
- Experience of analysing risks and opportunities
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
