**Bereavement Helpdesk Consultant**

**£10.49 per hour**

**35 Hours Per Week**

**Monday to Friday**
**9am to 5pm**
**Will be required to work 1 Saturday in every 3 - 9am to 12pm and will take the time back in lieu.**

**Based in Swindon - hybrid working available.**

**Must be prepared to visit a local branch for 1st week training/set up and then as required** **after training**

**6 Months**

**Annual leave will be accrued pro rata**

Primarily a 6 **month** contract with **potential to go permanent** and even progress to a more senior role.

**What you'll do**:

- You will be responding to calls from family members, third parties and our frontline colleagues with a high degree of empathy and sensitive questioning to identify their individual needs.
- You will be dealing with enquiries throughout the Bereavement process and giving information on next steps, what documents are required and how to proceed to closing accounts or dealing with debts outstanding.
- You will use multiple systems to identify and provide account information on new and existing cases and identify when expert collaboration is appropriate.
- It’ll be your responsibility to guide the member to these sources of help, either internal or external support networks and charities.
