**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Here at Jaguar Land Rover, we are currently seeking a Emissions Test and Facilities Lead to join our Conformity of Production (CoP) Test and Facilities team.

A key responsibility in this position is to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the CoP test facility at Solihull are effectively planned and executed to schedule

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To lead and continually develop a safety-first culture within the facility.
- Lead the development/maintenance of team skills matrices/core competencies to highlight gaps and focus team development.
- Co-ordination of cost saving/quality improvement activities and operational uptime.
- Engage with colleagues across the business to capture new/evolving facility requirements, as well as participating in internal and external audits.
- Develop strategies for optimal workforce deployment in-line with changing business needs.
- Co-ordinate with area specialists to evolve facility infrastructure to meet stakeholder needs and legislative requirements.
- Oversee fault rectification and remedial actions to ensure unplanned test facility downtime is minimised.
- Ensure planned facility calibration/maintenance activities for all equipment is scheduled appropriately.
- Define and evolve key performance indicators aligned with business scorecards to effectively control facility equipment calibration/maintenance and repair.
- Co-ordinate the priority resolution of identified health and safety issues using appropriate business processes.
- Support the Digital Enablement of the Test Facility in line with the strategic plan.
- Point of contact for interaction with the relevant Engineering teams in support of CoP Tests.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as requested.

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**

**Essential**:

- Experience of leading an operational team
- Relevant understanding of test processes, facilities, instrumentation, tools and techniques.
- Managing and interpreting data sets for determination of actions and drawing conclusions.
- Solving problems in a methodical way.
- Detailed use of the Microsoft Suite
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred

**Desirable**:

- Vehicle Emissions Test Knowledge
- Knowledge of Health and Safety within a testing environment.
- Experience of audits
