Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established business that is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner who will join its team based in Bournemouth.

The company is offering a very flexible hybrid working policy where the successful individual will only be required to be on site 1 day a week.

This position would suit a part-qualified Accountant, but the business will accept fully qualified applicants also.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include:

- Prepare and distribute year end accounts within the required timescale
- Ensure robust process and controls are in place
- Liaise with auditors
- Prepare and distribute budgets within the required timescale
- Manage various tools and systems used to produce the accounts, budgets, quarterly spend reports and other reporting or analysis as and when required
- Liaise with Area Managers by having monthly meetings
- Ensure that queries are dealt with on accounts and budgets and responded to in a timely manner
- Provide ad hoc training for Area Managers
- Work alongside other team members to support business objectives

The successful Finance Business Partner will possess the following attributes:

- Experience of active business partnering/stakeholder management and preparation of accounts/budgets
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong team player and able to motivate and develop a team
- Ability to comply with strict processing and reporting requirements
