We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Tanning Consultant to join our very fast paced Arbroath salon. As a Tanning Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting tanning products and services, and ensuring a clean and safe tanning environment. This position is varied shifts and includes days, nights and weekends. Holiday cover and sickness cover is mandatory.

Due to meet local licensing we require a staff member of 21+

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the tanning salon
- Provide detailed information about tanning packages, lotions, and accessories
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tanning equipment based on their skin type and desired results
- Operate tanning beds and ensure they are clean and properly maintained
- Educate customers on the importance of using protective eyewear and following safety guidelines
- Monitor tanning sessions to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to time limits
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the salon including sanitizing tanning beds, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of tanning equipment, lotions, and accessories is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for processing payments and maintaining customer records

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.21 per hour

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
