Part-time Receptionist

Part Time Receptionist required for a busy Holiday Park. The role will involve a mix of weekday and weekend working on a rotational basis.
As a holiday park Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of Red Lion Holiday Park, this includes politely assisting customers in a professional manor at all times. This Job description is not exhaustive and you may be asked to undertake any other task or duty that is deemed reasonable.
**Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities**
- Being the first point of contact for all guests arriving at the Holiday Park.
- Checking guests in and out of the Holiday Park.
- Taking bookings and reservations for our Holiday Homes and Touring Pitches.
- Allocating available Holiday Homes and Touring Pitches to guests when booking.
- Answering all incoming calls in a timely manor and directing calls to the correct persons/department.
- Providing information regarding the accommodation and facilities that we offer.
- Taking detailed telephone messages for members of staff when they not available.
- Leasing with external bodies when necessary.
- Taking payments for various items via Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card & Cheque and ensuring this is passed onto the Park Administrator in a timely manor.
- Making sure the Reception is kept tidy and presentable.
- The reporting of any defects to the correct department.
- Compliance with GDPR regulations.
**Skills**
- The ability to welcome guests and have a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Must be able to use a computer and be familiar with the various Microsoft office packages.
- Organised and able to multitask.
- Good timekeeping skills.
- The ability to deal with tough and challenging situations.
- Able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
