**Role -Event Manager**
**Salary** - £35,000 per annum
**Location** - Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
**Are you experienced in Events with 2-3 years of experience planning and delivering B2C events from conception through to delivery?**
The purpose of this role is to work alongside the existing Event Manager, being responsible for managing and delivering all global events as a team, as well as proactively promoting the event space at the company’s head office. You will be converting enquiriesinto confirmed events and managing those events from start to finish. You will be working with the marketing team to assess the opportunity from an events operations point of view and craft the best methods to achieve great work without exception. Ultimatelydelivering a warm and memorable welcome for all guests.
**What will you be doing as an Event Manager?**:
- Planning and delivering events from conception through to delivery
- Following up with clients to ensure repeat business
- Negotiating & maintaining relationships with existing and potential stakeholders, venues, and general suppliers, to maximize return on investment
- Providing clear and concise internal communication of events within the company
- Assisting with build-up and de-rig of all events
- Demonstrating product at live events as and when necessary (training provided)
- Managing the events warehouse & assets (delivery assets to partners where needed)
- Providing post-event debrief paperwork, completing documents within agreed timeframes
- Creation of RAMS and event safety management plans
- Knowledge of the facilities available to present to both guests and potential clients for event hire
- Building a rapport with guests and establishing their needs quickly and efficiently to maximise the guest experience
- Acting as a Brand Ambassador, always reflecting the brand image and standards
- 2-3 year’s event experience planning B2C events
- With excellent communication skills, you will be able to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
- Can juggle multiple projects simultaneously and have a proven track record of handling a high volume of events
- Many events will be over a weekend or evening, (that may require long domestic driving distances), you will be expected to attend various events, and occasionally stay away from home
- A genuine teamwork mentality
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time & diary management and organisational skills
- Basic knowledge and experience of budgets & proficiency in Microsoft Office
- UK Driving License essential
